More meaningless ramblings from another guy you don't know

Wait, here's a good idea!

More clear thinking from the nation's elite editorialists regarding gun laws:

It may be true that no law could have stopped the Pennsylvania school killer. Maybe, though, stricter laws would have given him pause. And, even if his victims could not have been saved, certainly some of the 10,100 people murdered with guns or some of the 477,040 people who were victims of gun violence last year would have been spared.

Of course. Everyone knows that psychotic child-killers always stop to consider the legality of the weapons they're using to butcher innocent little girls before they actually commit the crime.

The sick loser who killed those children would have done the job with a knife, a hammer, a garden rake or a cordless drill if he didn't have a gun. The continued advocacy of victim disarmament more restrictive gun laws represents willful disregard of the experience and empirical data from strict gun-control localities like New York, D.C. and all the other places that have already tried it. The writer above concedes that no law would have stopped the freak in Pennsylvania. Doesn't matter, though. It would make all right-thinkers feel better and allow them to think that they've actually done something.

NEW YORK AND WASH D.C. ARE EXAMPLES OF GUN CONTROL LAWS, THEIR HIGH MURDER STATS DEFEAT ANY ARGUEMENT FOR GUN CONTROL WE COULD CLOSE EVERY GUN RETAILER IN THE USA AND GUNS WOULD STILL BE PLENTIFUL. ILLEGAL GUNS WOULD ENTER THE USA IN THE SAME WAY AS FOREIGN DOPE ENTERS THE USA. HOME MADE GUNS CAPABLE OF KILLING CAN BE MADE WITH PARTS BOUGHT AT A HARDWARE STORE AND ITEMS FOUND IN THE FAMILY CAR GARAGE. PROPELLANTS/AMMO COMPONANTS ARE EQUALLY AVAILABLE TO MAKE. GUN CONTROL ADICTS ARE WASTING THEIR TIME, THE COURTS TIME, AND GIVE THE NAIVE A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY. IN MY OPINON ANYONE, OR ANY LAW, PREVENTING A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN FROM OWNING A GUN IS AN ILLEGAL ACT, IT ESPECIALLY DEPRIVES THE LAW ABIDER OF AN INSTRUMENT OF PROTECTION OF HOME AND LIFE.

This article is poorly misdirected. I believe the individual is trying to save lives, but he's in the wrong department. How about the tobacco companies who are killing approximately 1,244 people a day? (I smoke, too) He cites that the assault weapons ban lowered the use of A.R.'s in crime... But did he point out that "Black Rifles" are used in less that 8% of firearm related crimes? Of course he didn't. Because he's anti-gun. I live in a neighborhood where people will steal anything that isn't bolted down, and addict's will kill me for my shoes (literally). He also doesn't acknowlege the fact that 86% of firearms used in crimes are unregistered and illegal; owned by individuals who care nothing about gun laws. The only people that tougher gun laws are going to affect... are people like me. Who depend on them to save my life in a time of need.
